How it all began
THEY MEET (The University of Arizona, September 15, 2010) Brittany and Paul meet while pledging the business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, in the fall of their junior year. Paul spotted Brittany during Induction Night, and they quickly became partners-in-crime but JUST BEST FRIENDS.
BEST FRIENDS (Philadelphia & New Jersey, 2013) Shortly after graduation, Paul moved to Philly and spent Thanksgiving with the Churchills. Everyone falls in love with Paul, and Grandma Gracie asks Brittany why Paul isn’t her boyfriend, but they were still JUST BEST FRIENDS. That same year, Brittany spends New Years Eve in Philly with Paul. They hit the town dancing but definitely STILL JUST BEST FRIENDS.
STILL BEST FRIENDS (Arizona & California, 2014-2016) Paul moves to Los Angeles, and he and Brittany plan tons of trips and visits to see one another AS JUST BEST FRIENDS. Also, Paul’s mom now begins to refer to Brittany as “his girlfriend.”
FINALLY DATING (Marina del Rey, CA, July 4, 2016) Brittany takes a job in Pasadena. Paul flies to Tucson, AS A FRIEND, on June 14, 2016 to help pack her Mustang and speed her off to California before she can change her mind. Less than one month later, on a sunny 4th of July, Paul makes the move (with fireworks in both hands), and plants a smooch on Brittany - They finally become MORE THAN FRIENDS!

THE PROPOSAL (The Getty Villa, Malibu, CA, November 16, 2019) Just over 9 years after meeting…Paul proposes! Planning the perfect surprise with the Churchill sisters, they plan a fun-filled, Southern California weekend starting with a trip to Disneyland. The following day, the crew heads to the Getty Villa to take in the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. While Jackie distracts Brittany, Kristen secretly hands over the ring for Paul to hide behind his back while he takes a few photos with Brittany. He drops down on one knee and pops the question and Brittany screams “YEAH!” The plan was to get married 10 years & 10 days after meeting…but COVID…so now 10 Years and 250 days later its happening! Brittany and Paul will FINALLY tie the knot and be BEST FRIENDS FOREVER but also husband and wife. See you there!
